How to check if T110 is opened
Hi, I've settled up some automations to start checking if someone open the windows when I leave home. But if I run the automation when the window is already opened nothing happen.
There is a suggestion to check if the windows are open at a certain time, is there the option to do this check when I run a shortcut? Thanks.

A feasible approach is to create a new automation with the help of another smart device (e.g. a smart button, Tapo S200B) to monitor the condition of the contact sensor T110.
- When Tapo S200B Pressed, If Tapo T110 is opened, Then ring H200

The "If" condition will check the current status of the contact sensor T110, the action will only be executed when the conditions are met.

The automation activation depends on detecting device's status changes. In your case, as there haven't been any status changes, the automation cannot be triggered.
You raise a good point though. We will forward this suggestion to the product team for evaluation.

@Wayne-TP Thanks a lot for your answer. But now I have a question, in the suggested smart action there is something similar based on the time. So, right now I can have the same thing I'm looking for but base or the trigger "at 8 PM" but not based on other kind of trigger, for example when I execute a shortcut.
Think to this scenario: I'm turning on the alarm, so I'm activating all the automation to rise an alarm if someone open the windows ... Obviously I what to check if some of them is already opened. Right? Thanks!

@Wayne-TP I confirm, it works. I've used the press button and also added "if" condition to activate the automation. Now it works as I want. Thanks.
