Model: NC450
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

No matter what I do or try, my mobile and tablet keep asking for the password.

I have changed it at least 3 times, but still luck. I have removed the original app, and down loaded the current one. .

With still no luck.

I have tried to re-boot both cameras, downloading the app after doing this.

It's still asking for my password. .  I type in the new one, which it doesn't like.

Hi,
1. On the NC450, you can press and hold the WPS/Reset button (for more than 5 seconds) until the System LED turns off when the camera is turned on, then release the button and wait for the camera to reset to its factory default settings.

After you factory reset the NC450 successfully, please try to reconfigure it with the tpCamera app, and you can refer to the instructions below.
How to set up cloud camera with tpCamera APP?
Note:
    1. In step 5), please set a new password for secure access to your camera rather than use admin.
    2. If the problem remains, try a different phone if you have one.

2. If you fail to log in to the camera via the tpCamera app, you can refer to the attached instructions to log in to the camera's web UI to change the camera login account.

If you fail to reset the camera or fail to log in to the camera after the above steps,  it's recommended to contact your retailer or local support to check if the camera is under warranty. If not, you can buy a new camera, such as the Tapo camera, as per your requirements.

Best Regards

  @Solla-topee

Thanks,

I have tried all of that, re-booting for 15 seconds before downloading the app etc , on my mobile and Tablet.

I still get the same problem with asking for the password. .  I don't get the option to reset it.

I don't have another mobile to try.

Hi,

There is a WPS/Reset button on the camera, and you can press it for about 10 seconds to factory reset the camera.

If you have tried that but the problem remains, check if you can log in to the web UI of the camera to change the login account info.

Best Regards
