Tapo app bugs - no thumbnail preview and playback issues on Android 14
Motorola G84, Android 14, Tapo app updated.
When using high resolution recordings (QHD), event recordings show thumbnail preview (1st pic), but downloaded recordings show no thumbnail preview (2nd pic). In both cases, the Tapo app plays them. The issue: the Photos app (official Google Gallery app) shows the downloaded recordings, also without thumbnail preview. Playback in Photos app fail with "Can't play video error". I am unable to share the downloaded recordings via WhatsApp, because of not supported format.
When in low quality mode (360p) there are no issues.
Later edit: the app works ok on Motorola E7 Power (Android 10). Same Tapo version 3.7.522, same camera.

On your Motorola G84, please refer to the following steps to collect the app log for further analysis.
1. Use the Tapo app to try to reproduce the problem.
2. After the problem is reproduced, go to APP > Me> Help & Feedback, select your devices/select others > Feedback, check the "Send APP Logs" and send feedback to us.

Hi,
With the Tapo debug app(Trial app), please refer to the following steps to collect the app log for further analysis.
1. Use Tapo debug app to try to reproduce the problem.
2. After the problem is reproduced, go to APP> Me>About, and click the Tapo icon 10 times on the About page (if it requests storage permission, please agree, so that the log can be saved to local storage on the phone), and the log will be imported to the mobile phone directory-TPLINK folder.
3. Send us the app log file.
