In my posistion I wasn't able to purchase the L930-10 and was only able to get 2xL930-5 and it says that it doesn't support being connected in series. But in the past I have been able to connect older models together in series so I was just wondering if it is because of the power adapter being too small for the extra power because I have a larger one for it but don't want to cut and solder if it isn't going to work at all.
Tapo L930-5's power adapter cannot power two 5m light strips. And the light strip only has one end with a connector, the other end is sealed. Most importantly, the controller is not able to manage over long light strips, potentially resulting in insufficient brightness at the end, inconsistent colors, or the control commands not functioning at all.
