@didigal What light is missing? Im guessing the modem/router will power up and you can access it ok? Is it just internet access that is missing? Check on your device if you are getting an IP address...

@Thijsvu Apologies perhaps my answer was confuddled however as it does not harm... i do enable it Newer IOT devices are starting to use it, the Alexa Show 10 for example seems to roam well on mesh......

@Thijsvu From my experience 90% of the IOT devices out there dont support the mesh option. IOT is generally older poorer hardware and simply wont give any benefit to enabling this, however as it does...

@antonioabb Router mode would be more hardware intensive (CPU, RAM) vs Access Point mode. It could therefore be that the device is working a bit harder in Router mode and this slows the WiFi rate....
