@nel1337 If connecting the laptop only causes this issue then probably that's the culprit. Make sure that DHCP server on both C6 is turned off, i.e. ISP modem is the only DHCP server in your network....

@AllegedGoose Does your C80(EU)_V2 support OneMesh ? If it does you can use it as your main router and connect C80(EU)_V1 as a satellite router using WPS button - more details in this post.

@Albert_B Most probably it will give you an error message, because different FW regions are not interchangable - that was explicitly noted on the FW support page.

@craig101 Did you try to reboot the modem by removing its power supply for 5 sec then check if the DSL line connects automatically ? If you observe the same behavior contact your local tech support...
