Hello. I purchased a c2300 mid-December 2018. It's a Version 2, and I updated the firmware to the latest version on Dec 16, 2018.
I've setup the router and it's been working well.
Today, however, I tried to setup Dynamic DNS. First, I attempted using the TP-Link version. I read some FAQs, and one directed me to bind my router to my TP-Link account via the TP-Link Cloud link in the management console. Although I can log in at https://www.tplinkcloud.com/index.php just fine, when I attempt to log in through the management console I get an error saying it timed out (almost immediately.)
Next, I created an account and registered a hostname at no-ip. When I attempt to connect through the management console, THAT fails.
I have rebooted the router, cleared the cache of IE, Firefox, and Chrome (tried all 3) and performed a voodoo ritual designed to invoke good juju... 
all to no avail.
I work in IT maintaining seven domains for State Government, and I consider myself to be an above average tech. I feel confident that I have done what I am supposed to do properly, but I cannot get Dynamic DNS setup on this router.
I also spent 30 minutes in chat with TP-Link support with no resolution. I have not yet performed a factory reset because I don't want to deal with getting everyone in the house and all of their various devices reconnected (yet.) Maybe this weekend. I highly doubt that a factory reset will do anything, but I guess we must rule that possibility out.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

We had one of our test engieers try to replicate the issue and they were not able to do so. The thought is that your are not acutally bound to the TP-Link cloud account yet. This FAQ will show you how to bind your router to the cloud. You may be automatically redirrected to the management login page or you may need to reboot for the changes to take affect. You will know its successful when you now have to log in with your email address and password instead of the username and password you orginally logged in with. Once bound you should have no issues with the DynDNS service.

I have access the URL you provided. That is the page I accessed when I originally tried to set this up. I am trying again. However, here's an interesting issue:
Logging in by IP address:
Logging in to TPLink.net (Firefox):
Same result with Chrome clone, Vivaldi. However, when I use THIS URL in Vivaldi or IE, I am able to login: http://tplinkwifi.net/webpages/index.1528724027141.html
Strangely, that URL does not work with Firefox. I get this error:
Not Found
The requested URL /webpages/index.1528724027141.html was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
For my Internet setup, I am using the following DNS servers:
Following the directions again, I still get the timeout. I am using a 30 character complex password. Just to test, I will change my password to 10 characters in case your servers cannot process secure passwords. Results will follow shortly.

Even with the shortened password, it still times out.
When I try to register from the TP-Link Cloud page in the management console, I get the following error:
Clicking the support link from that page successfully takes me to the web site.
I will install Telerik Fiddler to search for clues.

Thank you for the email notification that you had responded here. We are working on improving our notification system but its still a work in progress. Its deffiantly not allowing you to link a TP-Link cloud account. We would need to investigate further as to why but we can do that internally. Please send an Email to ussupportteam@tp-link.com and include this thread. We will help you start the process of an RMA. In the mean time please also review the warranty policy for any and all details regarding how replacements are taken care of.

SUCCESS!
I will put a copy of this thread, along with the Chat ID # and the customer support number you sent me. Hopefully, you will receive the router to diagnose when it is returned by Amazon.
NOTE: I bound BEFORE I upgraded the firmware. I hope that upgrading the firmware does not break it. Also, somehow I ended up with Hardware Version 1.0 this time.

Ok, thank you for letting us know. As you have already replace the unit with your retialer we will disregard the RMA request sent to us. Because of how we get defective units back from retailers it will be dificult to determine which unit came from you. If you happen to have the serial number I can have them look for that. If you have further issues with this please let us know.
