You will need a smartphone to set up the units.

What you can do is to set them up where you are at. Then move them to where they need to be. When plugging in the units they will automatically connect. Start with the main unit, the LED should turn green if it is getting internet, and the slave units will turn green if they are close enough to the other nodes. 

You can then manage the Deco units remotely with the app.

Doing that setup can lead to some headaches, but is doable.
