AX50 intermittent signal loss
I have an AX50 and have had a recurring issue since I bought it in April. Periodically, internet will just stop on a device. It will be working and then no more. The device is still connected to the WiFi, but will have zero signal. I will have to turn off and on the WiFi of the device, in order for the signal to work again.
This isn't an issue of slow performance. I am only able to get a 100Mbps line and I get that speed (when sitting next to the router), via WiFi. I get adequate speed throughout the house (usually no less than 20 Mbps), except when the internet access freezes. It will only happen on a single device or two. Other devices will remain connected and working just fine. We have 29 devices connected via WiFi.
My daughter, whose room is next to the office where the router is, complains of significant issues with her iPad internet and slow signal in her room. I run a Speedtest from her room and get 80+ speed, when it works.
I've tried changing the RTS and Beacon, changing channels and width, I've done the factory reset and uninstalled Tether, I have tried with and without Smart Connect.
I'm at wit's end. I can't figure out how to get a stable connection. I haven't seen a thread quite like this in here, so it may be limited to me, or maybe bad hardware? Any thoughts? I'm ready to throw the device out the window.
