Model: TL-WR1043ND
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

My home is within 100 feet of an AT&T Hotspot and I am an AT&T customer.  The signal is strong and I would like to use that WiFi source by connecting to my home WiFi router (TL-WR1043ND) to connect non-WiFi wired devices.  What TP-Link product do I need to accomplish this?

There probably are several ways. Here is an example using a router and a PC . Different make router but your TP Link router should have the same settings. https://video.search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?fr=yhs-symantec-ext_onb&hsimp=yhs-ext_onb&hspart=symantec&p=connecting+a+router+to+a+wifi+hotspot#id=14&vid=d6fe82612b93a3a798067a9a77cf00cb&action=view

Thanks Archer C8, That is a solution, but requires the laptop/PC to be present for all other users to see the Internet. Is there a way to use something like the TP-Link Pharos Control (CPE210) as a bridge plugged directly into the router? This would preserve security set up on the router LAN.

The way I posted is the way I know but I got to think there are other ways. I did find this https://video.search.yahoo.com/yhs/search;_ylt=AwrEeSS3AqBfx0AAX18PxQt.;_ylu=Y29sbwNiZjEEcG9zAzEEdnRpZAMEc2VjA3BpdnM-?p=boost+xfinity+hotspot+wifi&type=ff_ds_rapha_wk34_2019&param1=c11a519f-e120-4a49-9fb1-bd9c82fe9b88_2019-08-23_ff&param2=ds_direct_rapha&param3=nfm__wk34_2019&param4=1122&hsimp=yhs-ext_onb&hspart=symantec&ei=UTF-8&fr=yhs-symantec-ext_onb#id=6&vid=fdffd28f01d1fc12e9813a7df5e0ce18&action=view

You could use a travel router like the TL-WR902AC in hotspot router mode. That would allow you to accept the hotspot as the source and still create a private secured network for your devices.

@Carl

That is an option, but it requires reconfiguring everything currently on my TP-link router to a new router.  I'lltake a look at the features of the portable, but I think it would be lacking compared to my  WR-1043N.

@Chuck4NC

If you setup the network name and password as the same thing you should not have to reconfigure any client device. The TL-WR902AC has the added feature of 5GHz AC WiFi but you would need a switch for physical devices.  You could use the 1043 by disabling the wireless and DHCP and turning the router into a aforementioned switch.
