Model: Archer VR600
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 0.2.0 0.9.1 v0074.0 Build 170504 Rel.68210n

I'm using my VR600 (brand new!) in "WiFi router mode", with DHCP disabled - I have a centralized DHCP server for that.
At times, when connecting the same Samsung phone to the router, I get past the authentication phase, but the client does not get an IP address.

Watching the network, I see the DHCP request, the reply from the DHCP server (repeated several times, at 5-10 sec intervals), and then the client announces it cannot connect as it does not have an IP address.

This can go on for 5-10 minutes (while retrying on the client side "WiFi off->on) until it goes through.
Once connected - the IP connections works perfectly for hours on hours

Needless to say the same client works perfectly with other routers in the same environment.

The FW is the latest.

Any idea?

@YairItz

Before disabling the DHCP server, were you able to connect without issue to the router?

Since you disabled the DHCP server, what if you configure the TP-Link device to be an access point (connecting Ethernet to LAN instead of WAN)? And statically assigning an IP to the router.
