Archer AX73 AX5400 loses config after turn off
Dears,
This is the 2nd TP-Link Router I got but with this one I have some troubling issues. When I turn it off or the power goes out, it loses its config. It doesn't even restore to the factory default (the wifi config on the back of the router sticker). It goes to some funny config where the 2.4G wifi SSID is "TP-Link_XXXX", where the XXXX I beleive is some part of the MAC address.
Is there a way to fix this or should I ask for a replacement? How can I be sure that the replacement would not have the same issue?
Best,
Mladen

Does the issue happen every time, or it happens occasionally? Except for the 2.4G SSID changed to "TP-Link_XXXX", how about the 5G name and other settings saved on the router, are they still remaining unchanged, such as wireless password?
You can try to reset the router to factory defaults, then reconfigure it from scratch to check if the issue persists.

Thanks for the reply, Kevin!
Here are my answers:

> Every time there is a power outage.

> Yes, I get the 2.4G and 5G SSIDs, with small difference in the SSID name
and other settings saved on the router, are they still remaining unchanged, such as wireless password?
> No, all is reset to some "strange" default settings. When I plug into the router on an inner LAN port, it asks to set the admin pass, so default settings are enabled. Funny though that the "TP-Link_XXXX" SSIDs have some default wifi pass "12345670"

> Yes, I did this the last couple of times this happened. This is the 4th time I get the issue. By chance I noticed that there was a power outage for like 30 seconds and after the router started it got the 'default' settings.
