@TP-Link support responded that iwconfig is a deprecated call for that tool and it was sent to the developers for removal (hopefully) in the next firmware update.

@Watchowner @TP-Link any news on this? The error message still keep popping up in the log even after a recent firmware update.

This is still happening on a Deco X20 v2.0 with latest firmware (1.1.3 Build 20211103 Rel. 32888)

I get A LOT of these errors:

Sun Jun 19 17:36:19 2022 daemon.err uhttpd[5984]: sh: iwconfig: not found

Sun Jun 19 17:36:31 2022 daemon.err nrd[9921]: _get_vap_status: fgets failed.

Specially the fgets one. That error pops up every 30 seconds or so.

Could somebody give us a better in depth information of what is going on. It's not nice to see a log FULL of errors.

Same issue with my Deco X20 AX1800

I have two Decos:

office: X20(2.0): 1.0.3 Build 20210205 Rel. 35873

living_room: X20(2.0): 1.0.3 Build 20210205 Rel. 35873

Firmware update says it is up-to-dated.

Living room Deco is connected to router by cable.

Office deco loose connection very frequently, sometimes every couple of minutes
