Model: TL-WR841N
Hardware Version: V9
Firmware Version: 3.16.9 Build 150104 Rel.53205n

My Xfinity subscription is 200Mbps so I was upset when the speed test showed only 94 Mbps.

My setup is:

modem->router->computer using all CAT-5/6 ethernet cables.

But when I connect modem->computer using ethernet, it is 238 Mbps.

I am really disappointed. I thought a cable connection to router would be fast.

I spent hours arguing with Xfinity and even renting their modem for a day to prove to them it was their connection that was slow... :(

@likejudo00

The WR841N is equipped with 5 10/100 Mbps, 1× 10/100 Mbps WAN Port and 4× 10/100 Mbps LAN Ports, which is going to be a bottleneck for you, it would be better to upgrade to something with a 1GB port if you get a speed of 200Mbps.
