My internet service is 800 Mps. When I Speedtest my system having the computer hard wired I routinely acheive a speed of over 800Mps. But when I connect wirelessly to the system the speed drops to between 200 and 300 MPs.

checking the speed using the Deco  App I get speeds in the 775 range. Is there a reason for the difference ?  What steps can I implement to at least have the speeds be correct?

Hi, did the mobile device connect to the 2.4ghz or 5ghz?

Please also test the wireless link speed as well.

I selected 5ghz in the deco app and unselected the 2.4 ghz feature. Still doesn't explain the difference in reported speeds between the mobile device app and the speed reported from the computer. Using xfinity speed test on my mobile device and not the app the reported speed is 167Mps.

I would expect the devices would be closer.
