Deco x20 and Deco m5 work together?

Deco x20 and Deco m5 work together?
I just purchased the Deco x20 system. I already have the Deco m5 system. Can I still use the m5 units in combo with the new x20 units? Also, should I keep my Asus router in the mix, or connect one of the x20 units directly to the modem instead of the Asus router? Or, should I eliminate the router?
