I'm trying to setup a range extender in my home, however when it gets to the wifi connection part it doesn't not let me connect to a wifi. There is only one EXT wifi that comes up and I cannot cannot because of the password. I've tried connection with the password on the router and our wifi password but neither works. Need help connecting. Cannot move onto the next part of setup until it connects to a wifi

If you set up the extender successfully,the Signal/ Wi-Fi Led swill light up, and Extender uses the same wifi password as main router at that time. 

If Signal LEDs/ Wi-Fi led on the extender are still off and Ext Wi-Fi does not accept router's Wi-Fi password, it is possible the password in the set up was wrong.

You could factory reset extender and install it from scratch: 
RESET: With the extender powered on, use a pin to press the RESET button until most Leds flash once.
