Model: Archer AX1500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: latest

Archer AX-1500 runnin the latest firmware.

Laptop running WIndows can connect wifi fine.

iPhone and Android (pixel, galaxy fold, etc) can not connect to wifi.

Have followed information on this thread with no effects.

https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/234734

Have tried both WPA2 and WPA with TKIS / AES, tried with or without guest networks.

Nothing. the behavior from the phone is almost like the password is bad. It does not even get to the acquiring IP stage.

The only way it works is by having the network open aka No Password, which is dangerious.

Can TP LINK please look into this matter. This issue has been reported since 2020.

I am IT admin.

Hello, can I have the specific OS version of the iPhone and Android phones?

How about connecting to the Guest network, will they connect?

Just to be sure, what is the current firmware version of the AX1500? Is it Archer AX1500(US)_V1.2_210513? Were you able to connect to the network when running an older version on the AX1500?

@Kevin_Z

Iphone is on latest version of IOS, using iphone 11 or 12.

Android versions are 9 and 10.

Yes as I stated I tried the Guest Network with the same effects. It will go from Saved under wifi networks and then it tries to connect and instantly it bounce back to Saved.
