Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.3 Build 20210719 rel.14861(5553)

Hello,

  I just bought and installed a new Archer AX11000 on Saturday with SmartConnect enabled in the admin panel. I didn't have any issues and everything was fine. Here I am 2 days later and I was experiencing my cellphone dropping internet connection. When this occured, I checked the wifi connection on my phone and it said 'No Internet'. This happened off and on for about an hour and had to get off the wifi to do anything. A little after this happened, I noticed my Roku suddenly dropped connection while watching it. Any ideas on what could be causing this?? I wouldn't expect this to be happening seeing it's brand new and was installed only 2 days ago.

It appears that not all of my internet was dropping at the same time. When my cellphone internet dropped, my work laptop still seemed fine.

The only setting I changed are:

Advanced > Network > Internet - I changed the Primary DNS to 1.1.1.1 and sencondary DNS to 1.0.0.1
Advanced > Network > DHCP Server - I changed the Primary DNS to 1.1.1.1 and sencondary DNS to 1.0.0.1

Thanks!

@BigB86

Hello, can you confirm if both the phone and Roku are connecting to the 2.4G network? We may suggest disabling Smart Connect, and creating a different network name for the 2.4G and 5G network, then confirm if they can connect properly.

Please also confirm what is the wireless security settings on the AX11000, try changing it to WPA2-PSK, AES, reboot the route and confirm.

BTW, when some of the client devices lose internet access, how about the LED status on the AX11000, does it stay normal?
