Trying to connect computer to TP-Link Extender. Says 'enter the network security key'. Where do I find the network security key?

'Network security key' is the Wi-Fi password, range extender will use the same password as Main router's after it has been set up successfully, so please put in Wi-Fi password of your home Wi-Fi. If RE does not take the password, factory reset and reinstall it, make sure you put in correct WiFi password during set up process.
