Apologies if this is a repeat of a previous thread

I don't know how to find the hardware version or firmware version but i bought the A6 a few months ago.

 I want to us the A6 router to extend the wifi range of my Spectrum furnished router.

I followed the procedure from tp-link chat but it didn't seem to work.

It entailed Enabling WDS Bridging and selecting the wifi network and security type.

I'm not sure what I did wrong.

Ideally I would like hardwire from spectrum router to A6 router.

Hello, if you want to connect the Archer A6 to the Spectrum furnished router via an Ethernet cable, then configure the Archer A6 to work as an Access Point as follows:
