My previous router was an old Mac Time Capsule. Never had an issue with hooking up my smart bulbs. Got the AX50 last year and had a difficult time hooking up the lights, so I ended up running both. I finally got tired of running two routers, and was able to finally set the lights up, as well as other items. The problem I ran into was when I would turn them on, sometimes they would be instant, other times they would take a minute to come on. If I had multiple lights in a room, they might come on a different times. Same thing with turning them off. I tried switching them to the guest network, and now they won't hook up.
