I've lost traffic from a couple of my POE IP cameras, as well as the garage door opener, which are all connected to the home network via ethernet.

I'm suspecting that either my switch is at fault or the ethernet cables that connect these devices to the switch have somehow been severed.

Is there a tester/monitor that can test both the operation of ethernet ports on a switch and the intactness of the ethernet cables that run to network devices?

@Newtonite you need a network cable tester, https://www.galvinpower.org/best-network-cable-testers has some examples. Testing the switch should be easier, just take a known working cable, use the switch port the poe camera was on, and connect it to a laptop/etc and see if you have issues.
