I am using a Deco W7200 (not available in model selection on this forum...) in my main house. We are currently building an ADU behind our house. The distance between building will be about 25 feet. My question is will I be able to place a Deco unit at the closest points in each house and have a reliable connection? If there are two hops how will that affect speeds in the ADU? I was hoping speeds would be good still with the tri-band system.

Hi, 25 feet is still acceptable if there aren't many barriers in between. and I think it is ok to have a reliable connection when placing the Deco unit at the closest points in each house.

As for the Mesh speed with two hops, there would be a certain extent of speed loss and the following link might provide more details:
