Model: Deco X55
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I currently have a Deco x55 mesh system. It is connected to our Ziply Fiber router. Is this mesh system a stand alone router? Tomorrow Ziply is installing ethernet cabling, we currently have a coax line. We will not have to use their router once we have the coax switched out for Ethernet. Can we just plug the ethernet line directly into our x55 mesh system?

@NikkieMouse Hi, welcome to the community.

Deco X55 supports multiple working modes: wireless router and access point.

And after having the coax switched out for Ethernet, you can just plug the Ethernet line directly into Deco X55 mesh system.

Thank you.
