Model: Archer AX1800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.5

Apologize if this turns out to be a duplicate thread - didn't see my previous one.

Replaced my old, but working Apple Extreme router with the AX1800, now streaming video at times has buffering issues, and web sites end up rebuilding on occasion.

ISP (Orbitel) has checked everything on their end, as well as replaced all connections to modem

System logs all clear except for LED Controller info:

2022-04-22 09:51:23 Led Controller INFO [1093] Start to run LAN_Off, then WAN1_On, WAN0_OFF, LAN_ON etc.

goes through about 2-3 times/minute with LAN turning off and on.

The router firmware is up to date, I've changed out cables, and it's connected to a Surfboard SB6183, and a 49 mbps connection.

I'm about ready to go back to the old AC1100 apple router.

Hello @Roadrunner317, it seemed you posted in the global community, and that's why you cannot find that post here in the US community. The previous post is here (I will delete it and keep this one only for better follow-up).

Back to the issue you reported, can you confirm the internet LED on the AX1800 router, will it turn orange/red when the issue happens? If it turns orange randomly, I would like to have the whole system log on the AX1800 router, then our engineer may look into it. You can email the system log to support.forum@tp-link.com with the forum ID 545646, then our engineer will see it.

  @Kevin_Z

the LAN light blinks on and off, all others stay green.  No orange.

Prior to all this - no problems- just thought time to upgrade from an old AC1100 router.

Btw - what is WAN0 vs WAN1?

thanks

@Roadrunner317

WAN0 or WAN1 stands for the WAN connection status.

Have you emailed the whole system log of the AX1800 to the support? The engineers would try to analyze it.
