Have installed the Deco M4 at a customer site with 6 mesh access points

 

Have had no issues up until yesterday when client said they cannot connect to internet and all the other m4 devices were flashing red. 

 

Found main M4 deco connected to NBN Modem was flashing blue

 

Pressed the reset button to factory default the main Deco M4 and resetup network with new SSID and Password

 

Added the remaining 5 Deco M4 to the network and all was working OK

 

5 hours later main deco m4 router has gone back to flashing blue and network is down as it was 

 

All Decos using the same hardware and firmware revision, im going to try and swap the main deco m4, with another one today and make one of the others the main router to see if this fixes the issue. 

 

Also found once i left the site/ wireless network range with my phone i could no longer see the site on the Deco App?

 

Has any one experienced this?

Hi, did the same issue repeat again in the last few days after changing a new Deco as the main unit?

After making one of the other deco m4's the main router, and resetting up the whole network again its finally stable with no issues. 

 

Why does it show two different firmware versions in the photo below? Why wont the main deco upgrade to the same version as the one below?

Thanks for the update.

The firmware version-1.5.1 Build 20210512 Rel. 39021 is for Deco M4R V3 and 1.5.2 is for Deco M4R V2.

The basic functions and software features are almost the same and there is a slight difference in the chipset.
