Model: Archer C9
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 3.17.0

Hello community. Got an Archer C9 to use as a wifi extender via WDS bridging. Im trying to also connect a DVR via ethernet cable to the router but am unable to get a wired connection to connect to the internet. Is this something thats not possible or am i missing something?

Thanks,

J. Lovell

Hello @Lovellservicesm

I would suggest checking if the WDS bridging has been configured successfully on the Archer C9, and the status is RUN, you can follow the guide below to review the settings:

How to check if WDS function is used on TP-Link routers?

After that, you can check if the DVR is getting a valid IP address from the network when it is hardwired to C9, be sure it is not using a static IP address that is not in the correct IP subnet. You can also try with a different cable if it cannot get an IP address.
