Model: Archer AX72
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.7 Build 20220401 rel. 43893

Hello,

When I plug the WAN port into a fibre media convertor the most the WAN port will give me is 10Mbps, if I plug my laptop in directly to convertor or the old router I get 60Mbps, I have tried forcing the WAN port to 100Mbps Full duplex and auto-negotiation but it makes no difference. I've also tried replacing the cable, no change.

@SteveHBF

It seems this Level One FVT-4001 is built with 10/100Mbps ports, are you able to change it to 100Mbps for the port that connects to the AX72 WAN?

Since you have already tested with different Ethernet cables, I'm afraid nothing we can do with this negotiation between the two at the moment, but we will keep an eye on similar feedback to check if there is any compatibility issue between the devices.

  @Kevin_Z  If I plug my laptop directly into the FVT-4001 then the laptop shows 100Mbps and I get 60Mbps download speed, if I plug the old Cisco router in it shows as 100Mbps and I get 60Mbps download speed, when I plug the AX72 then I get a maximum of 9.8Mbps download, I can't see anywhere on the AX72 GUI that shows what the link speed has negotiated to but I am assuming it's 10Mbps even though I have forced it in the settings to 100full.
