Model: Deco XE75
Hardware Version: V7
Firmware Version: 1.1.5 20220429 Rel.1833

Have tried disabling 5GHz, Turning Fast Roaming Off, and even a test guest network with very simple password (e.g. test1234). This printer has not had any issues connecting to previous routers, only Deco when I installed.

I have seen another thread on this which leads me to believe this is a bug.

  @David-TP

shortly after posting this I realized that the printer only supported WPA2; not even the WPA2/WPA3 setting which is an issue with the printer itself (HP Envy 4500)

it appears for this printer that only 2.4GHZ , along with Fast Roaming disabled and WPA2-only is the winning combo.

looks like I will be going back to USB cable for now and upgrading to printer that supports modern wireless encryption and bands.

  @mcburn13

Hi, could you please also change the guest network to 2.4ghz only and set the wireless security mode to WPA2-PSK[AES]?

Would there be any error message when the HP printer failed to a Wi-Fi network?

By the way, may I know the model number of your HP printer?

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
