Since installing my AX90 it has been causing the connection to my Bluetooth soundbar to garble the signal to the subwoofer causing it to drop out. It is also affecting the signal from my sons Xbox headset causing it to drop in and out.

Tp link chat has not really been any help.

any ideas how to fix this?

thanks in advance

@Damon1969

Archer AX90 supports Tri-Band, 2*5G, and 1*2.4G.

You can install and run a Wi-Fi analyzer on your phone to monitor what are the wireless channels for these three networks, then you can try to modify the channel to different bands. For example, if the 5G-1 is working on channels 149~165, you can try changing it to 36~48 to monitor the Bluetooth connectivity. If it supports band 2 (52-64) and band 3 (100-140), you can also try those channels.

Regarding the 2.4G, you can also try different channels by reviewing those that have been chosen by your neighbors.

If your router is close to your soundbar, the 2.4 GHz radio can cause interference since BT operates in that band.  Changing channels on router as previously suggested may help.  BT operates at 2.45 GHz so look to use a lower channel #.  For example, Channel 8 is centered on 2.447 GHz which is close enough to BT freq that a 40MHz channel width could increase chance of interference.  Good luck.

  @Damon1969,

Along with what was already posted here, I would recommend taking a look at this article on the EN Forums to see if it may help your situation. Will Soundbar or Soundwoofer cause 5GHz slowness?  - Just make sure to come back to the US forums after reading!
