Greetings,

 I have recently added a TP-link dongle to a desktop system and did a fresh install of the most up to date debian/kernel version, I can see networks and am able to put in the password but I cannot make a connection. I get "Activation of network connection failed". Any ideas or suggestions?

  @Robrh,

It looks like you have a newer kernel that is not yet supported; we recommend going to find the official Linux drivers and following these instructions on how to compile the driver for your system. There are other third-party tools and communities creating drivers for the newest Linux kernels, so I recommend looking for one that has been done for you already.
