Model: TL-SG108
Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version:

Hi:

I added a second TL-SG-108 to my existing network, either directly to a port on the Mesh Network Router or a port on the in-place Tl-SG108.

My issue is that the easy configuration does not pick up the new switch to allow me to configure it. It only slows the original router. A ping to 192.168.0.1 produces a response from  the ISP's Modem (WOW). Using 192.168.0.1 takes me into the ISP's modem configurstion.

I would like to change the ip address of the new switch to the same network using 192.168.1.3 (existing switch is 192.168.1.2).

Is there a way to access the switch to change the configure?

Any insight on a resolution would be helpful.

Thanks,

Dennis Friedman

  @DennisF19

Hi, TL-SG108 is an unmanaged switch that does not have a web management UI, and does not support Easy Smart Configuration Utility either.

there is no need to change its IP address and it is already in the same network as the rest of the LAN devices.

thank you very much.

Best regards.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I guess I got confused by the fact that my TL-SG108e does have the web/ui so I thought the SG108 would have that too.

Knowing that it doesn't (I came to that conclusion) allowed me to move forward.

I appreciate the help.

Regards,

Dennis
