  @Kevin_Z Has anyone tried the latest update for Archer AX55 V1 Firmware 1.2.5 Build 20231025 rel.50143

Just want to know if there are any bugs before I do a Firmware update.

Thanks, niabil

  @Kevin_Z Don't upgrade to this version!  DHCP issues...fails to lease IP's after half of the set lease time.

Anything new here in this thread?

I have the same issue.

Firmware Version : 1.2.3 Build 20231103 rel.66045(4555)
I found the issue repeating daily if I connect directly to my internet provider.
If the router is disconnected from the ISP and restarted I am able to connect but i t looks like the date/time is not synchronized correctly and is set to something like 2023/11/03 00:00:00. Once I re-connected the ISP cable, the router started to work. Previously even a couple of manual AX55 cold restarts didn't help to solve the issue today.

If I use my old router as a gateway between ISP and AX55 then everything works for weeks without any issue.

The logs stored by AX55 are for nothing as I can't see any previous incidents. (also when the datetime is synced no past incidents are shown in the logs, only the successful ISP gateway re-connection)

  @ErikMih

It seems I have found the source causing my internet drops,

.

I had AX12 connected to AX55 via cable and in EasyMesh mode.

Obviously, AX12 not only doesn't support the EasyMesh ethernet backhaul mode yet but even more - it ruins the internet connection of the main router when connected to main Mesh router via the ethernet cable too.

I disconnected the cable and I haven't seen the dropping internet issue anymore.

I thought the Easy mesh router similarly like a router in AP mode make sense only where the main router has the weak wifi signal but it still extends the wifi with the same network name. Meh. Silly me, or?
