Okay so i have a local machine that is running pi hole, i want to forward all traffic from my router through pi hole. I got my network setup by changing the default lan to 192.168.1.x and i point the WAN dns on the router to the ip of my local machine. The second i hit save the admin portal goes down. I have to change the ip on my computer to 192.168.0.x from 192.168.1.x in order to access the admin portal on the router. In the portal i see that the WAN Dns settings saved but the subnet of the router changed for some reason. I try to change the Lan subnet back to 192.168.1.x. it starts to work then i eventually see a screen that says there was an ipconflict and the setting was reverted. Router stays on the 192.168.0.x subnet. I reverted my iphole dns change in the LAN setting on the router and it allows me to put the router back into the 192.168.1.x local subnet without and Ip conflict.

I need some help understanding why the router would be kicked off the subnet that it has no issues being a part of when this dns server is in play.
