access usb drive on BE95
How do I access files on the usb drive I have connected to my main BE95?
How do I transfer files to and from it?

Good Morning
I was able to solve my problem last night, by first making my entire network private, then making it public again, and after that, I was able to map the USB drive so that it shows up easily in my windows file explorer!

I did everything as the tutroal showed, but I still do NOT see the drive in my windows 11 file manager
I can see it from a file manager app on my Android phone, but shouldnt I be able to see it in my windows 11 file manager, just like I can every other thing on my network?

that solution isnt relevant to me, as the external drive I plugged into the BE95 main router was freshly formatted, and never used on my network.
I cant get an IP address for it, since its never been on the network, so that solution isnt the answer.there is no network interface, its a usb drive
isnt there an "official" way of seeing whats connected to a usb port on the BE95 yet, or is that something that a firmware update wou ld fix?

Hi, Sorry for the delay. the IP here is the LAN IP of Deco which could be found under Deco APP>More>Advanced>LAN IP(usually it is 192.168.68.1).The whole BE95 with a USB drive connected would work as a USB server.
So the path of the folder on windows11 when mapping a network drive is \\192.168.68.1\
You already followed the FAQ here-https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/3341/ so you have configured the Samba/FTP sharing on Deco APP already.
If you still had issues, I would like forward your case to the engineers for further assistance but since they have left the office for the weekend, we might not get an update till next Monday.

I still cannot access the usb drive connected to my main Deco BE95
when I go through the instructions, it says "Windows cannot access \\192.168.68.1\ the remote device/resource wont accept the connection.
"the device or resource 192.168.68.1 is not setup to accept connections on port "the file and printer access sharing (SMB)
I have file and printer sharing enabled, I am able to access my NAS drives, the other computers on my network, everything else normally, except this USB drive connected to my BE95
Any other ideas, or does this just not work on the BE95?
