Having a switch to your Deco
I have a Deco XE 75 pro, three units. I also have a TP link 8 port network switch. I just want to make sure that I am setting up my network correctly. I have my cable modem going to Deco number one from Deco number one to network switch. Does the deck go to and three need to be plugged into the network switch or can it be completely wireless connection?

@usafret05 The main Deco must be cable connected to the modem. The other Deco can be connected either by cable or by wifi to the main Deco.

Hi, welcome to the community.
Ethernet Backhaul would be the best choice if you are able to connect both satellite Deco XE75 pros via Ethernet cables to the 8 ports switch, such as:
cable modem---main Deco XE75 pro---8 ports switch--satellite Deco 2 and 3.
For more details about Ethernet Backhaul, please refer to General questions about Ethernet Backhaul feature on your Deco
If it is impossible to wire both satellite Deco units to the switch, wireless Backhaul is also a good choice, like:
Thank you very much and best regards.

@David-TP I understand that may be the best way, but can it be hooked up with the modem to port to Deco with the other two Decos wirelessly connecting
