AC1200 Mesh Wi-Fi Extender

I just installed the entender and there is no difference in bars on my mobile at all -- still just one bar. The lights on the extender are all solid yellow. I am connected on my phone too. Any thoughts as to why it's not helping, even when I place the extender in different areas? Thank you.
Hi, Did you set up a different SSID on the RE315 from the host Wi-Fi router? I thought maybe you were still connected to the host router wifi.
It is suggested to reset RE315 once and set it up again via the web interface this time.
But please do not copy the host SSID and try to give RE315 a different WiFi SSID. Then check again whether there is any improvement in the signal strength.
Please also set the WiFi coverage to "Maximum Coverage" here.
