The community will need more information to help.  What lights are lit on the router?  Who is your ISP?, What troubleshooting have you already done? What lights are lit on the modem?  the more you can provide the better.

  @Carl I have fiber optics Lumas carrie. I am using all equipment that came with the router. All lights are up on router and modem, I have reset router, I have reset modem, I have hard wired it to a computer. I have rehooked up old router and have internet.

I am not familiar with Lumas. What is the model of your modem?  When it comes to lights on the router what lights specifically?  What color is each light  and are the blinking?

Have you contacted the ISP to see if your router needs a special configuration?

  @Carl it is from the company that I get internet from name is Calix. Power on light, 2.4 gh light is on, 5 gh light is on, internet light is on, when I had it hard wired the monitor light was on, all green not flashing. I do not know how contact ISP.

  @Carl I have contacted Lumas they can not help on their end they are telling me it is the router.

is your modem a gateway (modem and router combo)? 
 

also try power off the modem and router for 5-10 min and then power on the modem, wait 5 min, then power on the router.

@ArcherC8  has a very valid point, which is what I was trying to figure out by the lights and their colors.  If all lights are green, including the internet light (which looks like the planet Saturn) then that would indicate the router is getting a connection.  

 

We would need you to physically connect to the TP-Link router, it's easier than trying this with wireless.  Log into the UI using tplinkwifi.net.  Once you have logged in click on Advanced at the top of the screen and then let us know if the IP listed on the WAN/Internet has the first two octets as 10.0.x.x through 10.255.x.x,  172.16.x.x through 172.31.x.x, or anything 192.168.x.x.
