Connect device loses Internet access when new device is connected to TP-Link

I have 11 devices connected to my home TP-Link router. When I connect another device (a Beelink mini PC) to one of the unused ethernet ports, one of the existing devices (a Macbook Air laptop) loses it's Internet connectivity. Why does this happen and how do I fix it?

Does the MacBook Air have a wired or wireless connection to the network?
What does your network configuration look like? What modem is your Archer connected to?
Did you happen to have a static route or IP reservation configured for either of the devices?
If you did not have one set for the Macbook, I would recommend setting an IP reservation for the MAC address so that it will always use that IP address.
I would also recommend checking to see if the behavior exists between ethernet ports if possible. You may also be able to see if any significant errors are appearing in your router's systems logs.

Check to see if you are using the power adapter that came with the router because if it is under powered, it can cause issues like that.

Thanks for your reply. Here are answers to your questions.
The Macbook Air has a wireless connection to the network.
Network configuration: The TP-Link router is connected to a Motorola 24x8 cable modem Model MB7621, which connects to my Xfinity Internet service. Of the 11 devices listed on the router's DHCP Server screen:
- 2 are no longer connected (an older Mac and a Google Nest)
- 2 others are connected via Ethernet cable (my iMac and my Dell Latitude 5430 Windows work laptop)
- The remaining 7 devices are connected wirelessly. They include an LG TV, two iPhones, an Amazon Fire TV stick, an HP multifunction printer, my iPad and my wife's Macbook Air.
At the time I posted the original question, none of the devices had a static or reserved IP address, although I have since reserved the IP on all nine active devices.
I have checked the router's system logs and don't see any obvious messages pertaining to this issue (as far as I can tell).
After reserving the IPs, I tried connecting the Beelink device again to one of the router's two available Ethernet ports. Within less than a minute, my iMac and the Macbook Air lost Internet connectivity. I did not check the other devices to see if they also lost connectivity.
What other information can I provide to help troubleshoot this issue?

Since it appears all works okay until you connect the beelink, it sort of points to it.
It may be drawing to much power or may be putting a bad signal on the ethernet.
does the beelink work when connected to ethernet?
has the beelink worked on another router?
I would try reinstalling the ethernet drivers on it.

My Beelink suddenly started working without cutting off internet access to other router-connected devices. I did nothing more than disconnect the Beelink from the router for a couple of days, and then reconnected it, and Shazzam! it started working as it should. Wish I know why, but I'm not going to obsess over it. At least it's properly functional now.
Nevertheless, thanks for all of your troubleshooting suggestions.
