Hardware Version: V2

Firmware Version: 1.6

The actual model number wasn't available through the drop down menu. I have just purchased two switches and an access point for my home studio use and the switch will not power the AP.

Multiple searches on this topic make it seem as though this is a regular occurrence with tplink products.

Has anyone solved this issue?

Hi, TL-WA3001 supports Passive PoE so it couldn't be powered by TL-SG105MPE.
