Hi we just purchased this system to use as extenders with an existing router. When it's plugged in with Ethernet it works but as soon as we move either unit they stop. First question does one need to be plugged in via Ethernet to router? Why does the other go red after being moved
HI, yes, the first main Deco has to be always connected to the front modem/router via an Ethernet cable.

@Tdubose The main Deco must be connected by cable to have access to Internet.
The satellite Deco can be connected by cable or by wifi to the main Deco.
