Hi - my mesh network (4 APs) is 50 ft apart and mostly wired - but the seamless switching is far from seamless. In fact it's pretty bad at switching because signal strength is high but so is interference between floors. I need to toggle device wifi off & on to get it to switch APs. Which is why I would like to **use the feature pictured** to lower transmit power and encourage the devices to switch APs when on different floors. When they re-connect after toggling, they work great, they just overlap too much to signal to each other than - the one coming through the floor is not the one to use.

  @sillywilly Same problem for me would be nice to turn the tx power down to reduce AP overlap

Agree with this, I also have 4 and have them spaced logically to give best coverage. However my work laptop AX211 wifi, seems to like to jump nodes which causes me all sorts of problems (zscaler). I think if I could reduce the strength I could reduce these issues. I was quite surprised to not see any option for this, would be good if you could set on a per AP

  @Mat-Moo What are those problems?

Did you activate fast roaming on the Deco?

I have this same issue. The things that drop out the most are my TP-Link Kasa smart plugs and switches. I added another X55 to cover my gaps, but then I had too much interference on Zigbee. I would like to turn down the power to just cover the areas needed. I have 5 units.

Maybe the problem is the configuration. My Decos are all wired together. So I am using them more as remote APs instead of a mesh. Can we turn off the Mesh so that they don't interact? But we also need to be able to turn down the power.
