Hello All,

I am interested in the BE85 3-Pack system and using it with a wired backhaul since I already have a 10gbps network.

The main question I have is the channel allocation the system will use per node. e.g. if 5Ghz if I selected the 80Mhz bandwidth ( I am only interested in using wifi 7 on the 6Ghz band) Would each of the nodes will use the same 5 Ghz channel on all of them to talk to the clients?

In other words, let's say node(root) uses channel 36, would the satellites also use 36? or the system is smart enough to select a different channel on each node to avoid one channel / interference across the whole house?

Same question for the 6Ghz band?

Pls keep in mind I am planning to use wired backhaul.

@Ir0Man1 Well if you are using it as a typical mesh then your concern is valid.  They will all use the same channel and bandwidth, so devices hop from one node to another when roaming about.

@Ir0Man1 The Deco are always prepared to use wifi as backhaul, you cannot configure them to stop working if the Ethernet backhaul is not functional.
Hence it makes sense that they all work on the same channel.
