I have the deco x55 and I'm currently trying to set these up via Ethernet. The way my wires are ran I want to be able to run from my router -> switch  -> deco mesh system. If I run this in ap mode will this be an issue. 
 

(to clarify, each deco device would have its own run going back to the switch)

That setup shouldn't have any issues since it suits AP Mode perfectly.
