TX20U Adapter works slowly and inconsistently
Hello.
I've got TP-Link Wi-Fi router installed by my internet provider and had TL-WN821N adapter which worked fine. Now i decided to upgrade a bit and bought Archer TX20U. And it kinda works but the speed is even less than i had TL-WN821N and latency is noticeable even during calls there interruptions of signal for 1-2 sec. Is there any way to make it work right? Adapter installed in USB 3.0

A few questions:
- What OS is your Laptop/PC?
- What Router do you have installed on your network?
- Do you have the latest driver installed for the adapter?
Addintionally per the region listed on this post you are in Poland. If that correct we would recommend using this community in the future. They are responsible for all regions outside the US. Especially for products like the Archer TX20U, which is not available in the US they will by far be the best place for non-US customers to get the support they need.

@Carl Hi. I'll use the forum you provided nex time. Thank you. As for the questions
1. It is PC
2. It is branded BOX NET ROUTER FTTH.
3. The driver installed automatically just as i inserted the adapter. And it says it is most recent - i tried to update it from device manager.

1. It is PC
What OS though? Windows 10, Windows 11 ect?
2. It is branded BOX NET ROUTER FTTH.
I see. I thought you mentioned it was a TP-Link Router so i wanted to know the specific model to make sure there was no issue there. Because its not a TP-Link then its no problem.
3. The driver installed automatically just as i inserted the adapter. And it says it is most recent - i tried to update it from device manager.
That is acutally a default generic driver. Its based on a driver provided by the Chipset maker. While it might be up to date it is still a generic driver. I would suggest going to TP-Link.com, searching for your product and clicking on support. Then go to the driver tab and find the most recent driver. Install that driver and see if performnace is improved
