Model: Deco BE85
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I'm wondering if I can achieve wired backhaul using the SFP ports on the satellite routers.

ONT > Main BE85 router SFP+ port, Main BE85 router 10G port > Satellite router SFP+ port (or first to a switch, then to each satellite SFP+).

Would this configuration work? It could free up a 10G port on each satellite unit.

  @JM22

The SFP port is not reserved for access to WAN, you can use it to connect to Deco, devices and switches.

Hi  @JM22

Welcome to the community.

Yes, you can use the SFP+ Ports to interconnect your Deco nodes. Please note that the 10G port labeled as "Combo" with the SFP+ port cannot be used simultaneously while the SFP+ port is in use; only one of the combo ports can be used at a time.
