Hi all,

I connected the RE700x and configured as Access Point using Ethernet to my router ZTE H2640W.

I enabled on my ZTE router the Mesh but when I click on Topology menu' sometimes I see the RE700x connected, sometimes not, as it's disconnected (see the 2 snapshots below).

Also, when I explode "Router and Repeater" menu, under Backhaul/Signal is reported under RE700x MAC address, the Connecting status (see the yellow highlighted)...Why?

How can I understand if the ZTE router and RE700x are connected in Mesh?

RE700x not present:

no Connection

RE700x present but in connecting mode:

RE700x connected

Hi @pizzetta72

Welcome to the community!

Do you happen to know if your ZTE gateway utilizes proprietary Mesh technology? If so, then it may only be comaptible with ZTE Mesh nodes.

Additionally, since the RE700X is connected via Ethernet to your router, you will most likely want to configure it in Access Point Mode. For more information on how ot configure the device in Access Point Mode, check out our FAQ here.
