Hello, everyone I have a new home security that I'm trying to install and I cannot install it because it's required a 2.4 GHz. I believe I am 5GHz. According to the setting on my laptop, it's at 5GHz. I just need to switch it from 5 to 2.4.
I need the steps to go into the process of getting it switch please. And thank you.
I am going to guess that you are using Smart Connect.
Turn off Smart Connect and set up each network with different SSIDs and passwords. That way you can connect devices to which ever network that you want instead of the devices or router making the selecion for you.
The 2.4 GHz will be slower but give you more distance. The 5 GHz network is faster but does not reach as far.
