I'm thinking about purchasing a pair of BE75, but found this post, now I'm not so sure.

Is it possible for the admins to give an update on the situation?

  @Ashii

You won't get an update from tp-link here. They have clearly ignored this thread. The BE75 still has not been updated since January of 2024 here in Canada. I was lucky enough to still be within my return window but I do come back here once in a while to see if they finally responded or updated the firmware. I just could not have routers with zero security updates for 18 months (and counting). Clearly they abandoned this model and won't come out and say it. It' really too bad because on paper it's a good mesh system but software support is vital when it comes to hardware like this.

  @cadz last I checked the be85 and be95 are in the same boat. I really don't understand the lack of support my old xe75 pro received  updates frequently and I was expecting the same for this mesh system, but I guess I was wrong. Got an email last week saying that firmware updates were coming in the next few months. we'll see about that.

  @Dcap

I have be75 in Asia. I upgraded firmware to v.1.0.6 near a year ago and waiting for new firmware version. I raised question in this forum for asking feature of supporting wireguard but no one answers over half a year. I'm very disappointed of this company. They release a product without any support. People bought tp-link because of great value. But no one expects such poor support. If this company thinks we are fool, sorry that they ask people to find other alternatives actually. Even some countries are reviewing this company, I think it doesn't necessary because any potential customers will choose others brand as poor support. In case of my account is banned, everyone should knows what's next.

Please consider visiting one of the Asia support forums, as this is the dedicated US support forum. There is a possibility that a new firmware version for your Deco device may be available, either as an official release or a beta version.

You can use the following link to find the appropriate support forum:

  @HelpFixDecoApp been watching and checking daily, making me regret my purchase. Never seen such lack of support for the whole Wi-Fi 7 deco ecosystem. Be75, be85, and  be 95. All have firmware from over six months or later. God knows my be 75 system needs one it's unreliable constantly dropping connections needing to be rebooted. Moved beacons around it's ridiculous.

I understand your frustration. My Deco XE75 Pro units also require updates. I am currently unable to enable auto-updates and have consulted with email support twice, but they have only provided instructions on how to enable the feature after I informed them it is not available. It appears that even their support team is not fully familiar with all Deco models and the platform versions each one runs on.

If you haven't already, I recommend submitting your request at https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/kb/detail/412754, as this is the primary channel where many users are requesting firmware updates.

Currently, I am working with TP-Link to ensure that all models and hardware versions are upgraded to platform 1.10.0, followed by updates to 1.11.0 and ultimately 1.12.0, before new features or options are introduced. As of now, I have not received confirmation from TP-Link regarding whether this approach will be adopted.

If you want to know more about the various platform versions and how they work see the following post

  @HelpFixDecoApp

The latest firmware (Deco BE75(US)_V1_1.0.6 Build 20240725) in the US was released much earlier (over half a year) than for the Asia model (Deco BE75(US)_V1_1.0.6 Build 20240725). Both the US and Asia models (as firmware information, believe they are in the same hardware.) lack support. Since the BE75 is not sold in the EU, I believe my complaint represents users in both regions, excluding the EU (they are luckier).
